This film captures a feeling of uncanniness, unease and tension. Car parks are familiar places, transitional, non- places where people give them life and without their presence feel wrong. The emptiness felt in an empty car park is accentuated by the lines dividing the absent spaces.
Transitional, places where moving bodies pass, stairwells. Spaces which have a feeling of 'just about to be inhabited', and 'just left'.
The architecture of the building allows for echoes to be accentuated, and echo is an instant trace of someone and reveals that they are near; they are heard just moments after that person has spoken.
Peripheral vision is mimicked; things are seen out of the corner of your eye suggesting presence but with a feeling of absence.
