Porcelain and Stoneware

Ceramics inspired by the variations and idiosyncrasies in human forms focusing on medical imagery and skeletons. Each piece is thrown to represent a particular bone and relates to a specific illness or biological event. Altered by slicing to emphasise a look of decay; creating cuts and angular marks, making holes revealing the inside of the form where pools of colour are exposed to give each piece its personal identity. The glazes represent the internal structures highlighted in medical imagery.

Prices vary per piece; £50-70, additional designs avaliable.
